This is a vintage medium body wine decanter. An English, glass Merlot or Grenache aerator, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1960.

Of appealing shaft & globe form, with a bulbous lower and slimline neck
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Glass presents a clear, bright appearance throughout
Ball stopper sits neatly within the neck, forming a seal
Shape well suited to displaying medium bodied red wines, such as Merlot
