Delivery & Returns
Every piece we sell is made ready in our own workshops in Devon, packed by hand and sent with care. Here's what that means, and what to expect once your piece is on its way.
How we make pieces ready
Before anything is listed, it's cleaned, checked and put right where it needs it. We re-glue loose joints, ease drawers, adjust doors and hinges, test mechanisms, and clean and wax the timber. We keep the patina and honest wear that give an antique its character. If there's anything you should know about condition, it's in the description. If you'd like more detail or extra photos, just ask.
How we pack
We build bespoke packaging for every piece in our workshops at The Antique Village, Hele. Smaller items are boxed and cushioned. Larger pieces are wrapped, blanketed and crated as they need. Keys, screws and fittings are bagged and labelled so nothing goes astray.
“The packaging was outstanding! It took me an hour to unwrap everything, but nothing was broken. It arrived from the UK to the US just as described.”

Duties and taxes
International orders are sent delivery duty unpaid (DDU). Any import duties, taxes or tariffs due in your country are paid by you, and are usually collected by the courier when your piece arrives.
Antiques over 100 years old are free of customs duty in many countries, including the United States, although other import taxes or tariffs (such as President Trump’s 10% import tariff) may still apply. Rules change from time to time, so if you'd like an idea of costs before you buy, ask us and we'll help.
Our 14-day guarantee
If you're not completely happy with your purchase, you can return it within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. Please email sales@londonfine.co.uk within those 14 days, before sending anything back.
Return delivery is at your cost unless the piece is faulty or not as described. Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the piece back in its original condition. Read our full refund policy.
