This is a very large antique decorative serving plate. A Belgian, ceramic charger with blue and white finish, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.

Of Impressive size, with a delightful blue & white appearance
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Substantial white ceramic hosts a fine cobalt blue decor
Striking proportion at 2' in diameter and a weight of 6.7kg (14.77 lb)

Centre decorated with a classic Belgian river scene
A fisherman casts his net, ahead of a charming windmill on the river bank
Deep, broad rim hosts an ornate chased foliate pattern
Maker's mark to the rear for Boch Frères Keramis with artist's initials MG
