This is a set of vintage zodiac cups. A Chinese, ceramic miniature dish displaying the lunar calendar of animal signs, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.

A charming kung fu or zisha tea cup set, presented in a distinctive case
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Ceramic bowls decorated with flowerhead pattern, and accentuated with beaming gilt paint
Each of the twelve, skilfully hand-painted bowls represents one of the twelve animal signs
Fabric covered case dressed with a striking red lining in silk cotton
