This is a pair of vintage side chairs. A Scottish, teak elbow seat with Scandinavian influence, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1965.

• Superb mid century seating, with a wonderful form and tactile woollen upholstery
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
• Teak stocks present fine grain interest and deep caramel tones
• Drop in cushions professionally reupholstered in quality wool
  
  
• Distinctive back rest with a bowed crest rail and demi-lune opening
• Gently bowed arms terminate with oblique knuckles on canted supports
• Saddle form to the cushion, set at a comfortable height of 44cm (17.25'')
• Ivy green wool upholstery offers an elegant, tactile contrast to the frame
  
  
• Fascinating legs, united front to back on each side and standing on circular feet
• Unmarked as such, but of the form and quality of Beithcraft, a mid-century Scottish maker
• Scandinavian influence was introduced by their designers Frank Guille and Val Rossi
