This is a matched pair of vintage coffee pots. An English, silver plated heating jug by Mappin & Webb, circa 1940.

Superb 2 pint specimens, as good to use today as 80 years ago
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
'Prince's Plate, with triple deposit of silver presents a quality sheen
Hexagonal shaped ebony handles keep ones hands from the heat

Flip top lid with small finial - diamond shaped steam holes to one lid
Tall, steeply raked spout aids pouring of hot drinks
Maker's mark to base for Mappin & Webb, London & Sheffield
