This is a pair of vintage cinnabar baluster vases. An Oriental, lacquer and cloisonné decorative urn, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980.
- Striking Oriental interest with superb colour and fine detail
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
- Brilliant red hues to the distinctive cinnabar lacquered form
- Interior and base finished in bright blue cloisonné with gilt rim finish
- Profusely carved with landscape frieze, showing rolling hills beyond a river
- Foliate and scrolled motif accentuates the ground outside of the frieze
