This is a pair of vintage brush pots. A Chinese, hand-carved bamboo dry flower vase, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.
- Superb carved bitong or traditionally decorative brush pots, ideal for dry flower arrangements
- Displaying a wonderful aged patina, free from splitting to the bamboo
- Skilfully carved with an abundance of detail, the bamboo presents light biscuit hues
- The scenes depict workers within a bamboo forest
- Excellent examples of Chinese craftsmanship during the late Art Deco period
- Each offers an opening diameter of 7.5cm (3'')
