This is a pair of antique fireside andirons. An English, cast iron fire dog, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1805.
- Pleasingly substantial and attractive pair of andirons
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Cast iron presented with a good, consistent graphite finish throughout
- Accentuated to the front fascia with a charming flower motif
- Horseshoe front legs with the rear support arm terminates in a shaped toe
- Rear support of generous size, offering a platform for baskets up to 26cm in depth
