This is a large pair of vintage dry flower vases. A Chinese, hand-carved bamboo bitong or brush pot, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.
- Skilfully carved bitong, or decorative brush pots - ideal for dry flower arrangements
- Displaying a desirable aged patina, minor splitting to the bamboo
- Expertly carved with an abundance of detail, the bamboo presenting light biscuit hues
- The scenes depict traders and workers within a bamboo forest
- Delightful examples of Chinese craftsmanship during the late Art Deco period
- Each offering an opening diameter of 8.5cm (3.25'')
