This is large pair of antique fire dogs. An English, cast iron and brass andiron in Aesthetic Period taste, dating to the late Victorian era, circa 1890.

- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Quality cast iron presents a good, consistent graphite finish
- Adorned with brass finials, showing deep golden hues
- Superb birdcage twists add exceptional visual appeal
- Broad arched front legs terminate with scrolled toes
- Rear arms with angled branches can be placed both ways
- Smaller finial providing a grooved section for placing fire tools
- Rear support can host grates and baskets up to a depth of 22cm
