This is a large antique display dome. An English, tall glass taxidermy specimen showcase, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.

Lovely Victorian example, ideal for the taxidermist or collector

Tall and wide dome with quality, clear glass offering a bright display
Interior cushion finished in black suede leather
Wide circular base with gently rolled edge and a trio of bun feet
Each foot dressed with green protective baize for considerate placement
