This is a large antique serving plate. A Belgian, ceramic charger with decorative finish, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.

Superb size, with a delightful coastal scene surrounded with profuse pattern work
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Substantial white ceramic hosts a fine cobalt blue decor
Reassuring weight in the hand at 3.99kg (8.79 lb)

Wonderful coastal landscape to the central medallion
Broad rim accentuated with ornate foliate patterns
Maker's mark to the rear for Boch Frères Keramis with artist's initials MG
