This is an antique reception hall umbrella stand. An English, cast iron six hoop stick rack, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Excellent late Victorian foundry craftsmanship, with a pleasingly ornate appearance
- Presents a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
- Quality cast iron displays a good, consistent graphite finish
- Arranged as a set of six stick loops with a 7cm (2.75'') diameter opening
- Finial to the centre stands above the distinctive stick loop platform
- Central support accentuated with collar and cup forms over fluting detail
- Superb drip tray with a flourish of scroll detail and shell motif
- Standing upon a quartet of squat legs with bold scroll toes
