This is an antique decorative marriage bowl. A Chinese, ceramic ceremonial bonbon dish, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.
- Beautiful colours to this antique dish
- Superb condition throughout
- Ceramic thrown into a wonderful bowl shape
- Decorated in a vibrant pink ground with contrasting sky blue to the interior and base
- Decorated profusely with foliate and cloud form pattern
- To each side, a large spring flower from which scrolled leaves radiate outwards
- Alternating with characters beneath cloud forms over smaller foliate heads
- Striking blue base finished with red painted maker's stamp
