This is a long vintage Maimana Kilim runner. A Caucasian, woven decorative carpet or hallway rug, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1990.

Delightfully sized for the larger reception hall at 83cm (32.75'') x 299cm (117.75'')
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Artisan hand-crafted using traditional skills with minimal wear or fading visible
Woven without pile, a Maimana can usefully be laid either side

Colourful geometric patterns in darker hues a regional hallmark
Decorated with an array of coloured diamonds inside a hatched border
Further decorated with a sawtooth border and short, loose tassels to both ends
