This is a vintage decorative posy vase. A Japanese, ceramic baluster flower urn by Noritake, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1930.
- Delightfully illustrated display vase with gilt and figural detail
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
- White ceramic in bold baluster from, with narrow neck and rim
- Accentuated with an appealing palette of colours and gilt touches
- Several panels around the form show traditional Kabuki scenes
- Scenes depict figures upon the river or along its banks
- Maker's mark to base for Noritake - Made in Japan with the post-1902 Maruki symbol
