This is an antique bureau plat. A French, walnut and boxwood writing desk in Louis XV revival taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

- Striking light caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish
- Traditional bureau plat form, with serpentine curvature
- Generous quartered top with boxwood inlaid medallion and stringing borders
- Wide central drawer dressed with a pair of brass drop pendant pulls
- Standing upon tall cabriole legs, beneath shaped fascia accentuated with inlaid boxwood detail
