This is an antique keepsake case. An English, burr walnut jewellery or organiser box, dating to the late Victorian period circa 1880.

Eye-catching with high appeal from exceptional figuring
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Beautiful burr walnut stocks with fine grain interest
Warm caramel hues throughout present a dashing appearance
Fascia replete with inlaid lock escutcheon — untested, key absent
Opens to quartet of compartments with distinctive shaped divisions
Standing upon a quartet of scrolled toes in dark stained mahogany
