This is an antique set of six William IV Dining Chairs dating to c.1835
In good, original condition this set of classic English chairs display wonderful grain detail and a rich and warm patina throughout.
The shaped and rolled crest rail sits atop the sweeping rear legs and gently curve into the side rails. A central rear rail features tulip relief carvings to either side and adds stability to the frame. The front legs are turned and reeded in classic form and gently taper down to the feet.
The tan leather drop in seats are mellow in colour and in excellent order but could easily be recovered to match any room decor if desired.
Overall a fabulous set of six chairs in good, original antique condition. Solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed & polished ready for the home.
