This is a vintage travelling suitcase. An English, leather case by Asprey London, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.

Elegant case with a pleasingly appointed interior
Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout
Leather tanned in black with a lightly time worn appearance
Dressed with a pair of brass sliding clasps with inset locks — key absent
Broad carry handle with comfortable leather grip and oval brass mounts
Interior finished in a textured silk cotton with a distinctive indigo hue
Lid offers a fabric slide and mount - possibly used to host a handheld mirror
Leading edge of the case reveals the Asprey London mark when open
