This is a vintage side table in strong chinoiserie taste. An English, Chinese elm occasional or lamp table dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.

Select Chinese Elm displays a desirable aged patina
Decorated with colourful scenes within a backdrop of characters, mountains and pagodas
Continuous table apron decorated with gold tooling
Raised on cabriole legs with golden decoration to the knees

This vintage side table is a classic example of chinoiserie. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
