This is a vintage ship's bulkhead clock. An English, brass over oak maritime timepiece, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.
- Attractive presentation to this time-served clock
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Polished brass case shows fine golden tones
- Select oak mount presents fine grain interest
- Large diameter dial safely displayed behind a quality glass door
- Delightfully weathered enamel face, patination commensurate with age
- Annotated with Roman numerals, the slow/fast lever mounted at the XII position
- Elegant spade hands with smaller, inset seconds dial
- Winding hole to lower face — large winding key present
- Observed over a period of 24 hours - in working order when wound and keeping time
- Smiths Empire maker's mark with smaller Made In England export mark below the VI numeral
- Dressed with a pair of brass mounts, for ease of wall hanging
