This is a vintage pommel horse. An English, suede and pine gymnasium vaulting apparatus, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.
- Delightfully solid horse as good to use today as it was 90 years ago
- Displays a desirable aged patina with some light signs of use
- Quality suede covers the reassuringly solid padded top
- Tightly wrapped loop handles in very good order commensurate with age
- Brass inset maker's mark for Spencer Heath and George of London
- Standing upon four splayed, telescopic legs with adjustable height
- Lever pin mechanism adjusts through a range of 37cm (14.5")
This is an appealing vintage pommel horse, with a wonderfully solid, lasting quality. Great fun for exercise or as an unusual decorative piece. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready to enjoy.
