This is a vintage lined chest. An English, burnished steel shipping trunk or record box, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1960.
- Wonderfully patinated with striking period lining
- Displays a desirable aged patina
- Eye-catching burnished steel finish with great tonality
- Quality trunk lining to lid and interior
- Braced frame with metal press studs
- Dressed with a large scallop clasp with working lock — keys present
- Further adorned with a pair of long clasps
- Recently upholstered with a striking, highly colourful textile lining very much of its era
- Hand-drawn details to fascia and rear
- Pair of leather handles to sides
