This is a large set of revival library steps after the Victorian taste.
Turning the classic ninety degrees and rising eighty centimetres the steps wind around the hand pole which is tapered and shaped and terminates in a weighty brass ball finial.
Each arced tread attractively edged with golden delineation is inset with, gold tooled, leather panels.
Riding upon cupped brass castors the steps are easy to manoeuvre, each rise constructed with turned stretchers they offer a stable platform.
A fine set of steps, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
