This is a vintage Georgian revival whatnot. An English, mahogany set of mounted shelves, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1990.
- Of superb quality, with striking detail redolent of Georgian taste
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
- Select stocks present fine grain interest and deep caramel hues
- Dressed with a pair of brass mounting loops for ease of wall hanging
- Arrangement of two shelves with a suite of drawers below
- Dashing geometric side panels with shaped upper and lower brackets
- Each drawer dressed with small brass drop handles
- Drawer fascia accentuated with blind fretwork in astragal pattern
This is a delightful vintage Georgian revival whatnot, graced with superb craftsmanship and graceful detailing. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
