This is a quality vintage garden seat. A Japanese, ceramic plant stand or jardiniere, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1940.
- Cheerful foliate decor and appealing colour
- Displays a desirable aged patina - free of marks or losses
- Hollow ceramic form in very good order
- Barrel-shaped body decorated with bold flower pattern, issuing leaves in light blue
- Ovoid pierced openings punctuate the top and main body
- Decorative shield pattern to rim and base with flying cranes over foliate motif
