This is a vintage flower planter. An English, copper jardiniere or pot with overtones of Art Nouveau taste, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.

Foliate bulb form and of generous size
Displays a desirable aged patina
Pleasingly weathered copper with dark hues
Shaped petal rim cascades through the pot with a twisted vane finish
Generous opening diameter of 24.5cm (9.75")
