This is a vintage fireplace set. An English, cast iron fire basket with andirons, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1940.

• Attractive fire dogs with Art Nouveau revival overtones

• The fire basket with a distinctive barbed tooth edge
• Turned balusters over inverted acanthus bulb motif adorn the andirons
• Raised upon graceful scrolled cabriole feet to the front
• The basket resting upon the outstretched support arm with a square rear foot
