This is a vintage fat lava vase. A German, ceramic magma finish stick stand, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.
- Distinctive finish with appealing colour and of useful proportion for hall use
- Displays a desirable aged patina and good original order
- Bulbous ceramic form decorated with layered glaze
- Generous opening diameter of 10cm (4'')
- Rich orange band to centre set within a tactile, mottled ground
- Rim and foot decorated with a dark blue speckled finish
- Interior finished with a rich, chocolate brown hue
- Mark to base reads W. Germany with pattern number
