This is a quality vintage dresser base. An English, oak chest of drawers with Georgian revival taste, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.

• Beautifully figured oak and superior mid-century craftsmanship
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select oak shows fine grain interest and flourishes of medullary rays
• Rich caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish

• Wide dresser top graced with striking bands of medullary rays
• Arranged as a suite of four over three drawers, framed by a pair of arched cabinet doors
• Each drawer dressed with brass drop handles over shaped backplates
• Doors open smoothly upon brass butterfly hinges, with small circular pulls

• Carved reeding within canted recesses decorate the dresser corners
• Presenting field panels to each end with an attractive oak plank finish to rear
• Shallow apron over a quartet of ogee bracket feet to each corner
