This is a vintage decorative posy vase. A Japanese, ceramic flower pot with figural decor, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.
- Delightfully detailed vase with strong Oriental taste
- Displaying a desirable aged patina - some minor marks and one repair under close inspection
- Brilliant white ground accentuated with an appealing colour palette
- Expressive figures framed by tall rose bushes add great character
- Bright orange band to neck with floral motif and chased vines
- Rim and base finished with a blue over orange pattern
- Strings of handwritten characters to the body and as a maker's mark to base
