This is a vintage decorative fire back. An English, cast iron back rest with United Kingdom coat of arms, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.

Pleasingly cast with the Royal coat of Arms for the United Kingdom
Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
Cast iron presented with a quality, consistent graphite finish
Central medallion with the four flags of the Royal Standard
Bears the phrases Honi Soit Qui Mal y Pense and Dieu Et Mon Droit
Maker's mark to rear for the Kingsworthy Foundry of Hampshire
