This is a vintage decorative figure of Moses. An English, bronze and marble statue after Michelangelo, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1960.

- Standing upon a black marble base with bright white vein
- Pleasingly tactile and heavy, weighing 5.2kg (11.4 lb)
- After one of Michelangelo's statues that decorated the tomb of Pope Julius II (died 1513)
- Shows Moses holding the tablets of the Commandments, dressed in billowing robes
- Fine detail throughout, capturing the spirit of the original
- Signature to rear of indeterminate name
- Finished with a protective green baize to base
