This is a vintage clerk's desk. An English, oak and leather writing or kitchen table, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.
- Appealing and versatile desk
- Displays a desirable aged patina
- Select oak shows fine grain interest
- Light caramel hues and wisps of medullary rays
- The leather inlaid writing surface in good order — some wear commensurate with age
- Arranged with three drawers across the front apron
- Drawer boxes dressed with brass cup handles and engraved with the GR crown initials
- Left hand drawer with inset lock — key absent
- Raised upon four square section legs with gentle tapering to the feet
This is an attractive vintage clerk's desk with appealing, light caramel hues to the oak stocks. Ideal as a writing desk or for kitchen dining. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
