This is a vintage carved privacy screen. A Chinese, painted mahogany four panel room divider, dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1940.
- Profusely hand-carved privacy screen with striking red and black hues
- Displays a desirable aged patina and pleasingly heavy
- 23 Carved panels to each individual screen hosting pierced fretwork in carved leaf form
- Cinnabar red paint finish sits wonderfully within the ebonised framework
- Four folding panels present a versatile proposition for the bedroom or as a decorative room divider
- Each panel raised upon pairs of square section legs
