This is a vintage canapé sofa in Louis XV taste. A French, beech and velour two-tone sofa dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.

Displaying a desirable aged patina and use commensurate with its age
- Gilded foliate detail adorns the upper and lower frame
- Bi-colour black and orange velour textile in lightly worn condition - would welcome recovering
- Offering supportive and comfortable seating - robust upholstery with springing in good order
- Useful seat height at 40cm (15.75") and a depth of 57cm (22.5")
- Raised upon turned, tapered legs with a foliate frieze present on each leg
