This is a vintage campaign chest. An Anglo-Indian, teak and brass inlaid decorative trunk, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1940. 

• Appealing decorative finish and of useful proportion
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Teak stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
• Darker hues to the hardwood interior contrast nicely

• Profusely inlaid with leaf decor, the lid held securely with cast iron clasps
• Removable interior insert hosts five opening compartments
• Pair of further candle boxes flank the insert, with a compartment to the base
• Brass straps to the corners and drop handles in the typical campaign manner
