This is a vintage boat level. An English, walnut and brass torpedo spirit level by W. Marples & Sons of Sheffield, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.

- Walnut shows fine grain interest and mellow caramel hues
- Brass shows desirable, light signs of use
- Full width viewing window above level vial
- Vertical level with viewing portals to both sides
- Engraved with W. Marples & Sons, Sheffield Eng and Shamrock maker's mark
