This is a vintage three-fold screen. A painted, French, folding room-divider in the medieval taste, crafted in the mid 20th century.
- Fine ornate carved detail, painted panels and gilt highlights
- In superb original condition with a desirable aged patina
- Rich colour and grain interest to the dark stained pine throughout
- Quality hinges allow a smooth unfolding to desired position
- Attractive reel and ball turned finials guard the detail within
- Each panel features decorative, painted figural panels suspended by turned spindles
- Capped and footed by a frieze bearing triple golden medallions of carved lions and birds
