This is an antique, Victorian wine table with revolving bookshelf dating to c.1850.
On a tripod of down-swept legs the table is raised on a stout, ring turned column. The legs with pegged detail and a hanging, central flat finial.
The quatreform, revolving, galleried bookshelf is detailed with turned spindles and a curved edge picking up on the circular design of the piece. Each section offering six inches of shelving with a generous height.
The hues and tones of the mahogany have a desirable aged patina and warm glow that emanates from the lustrous finish.
A fine example with solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
