This is an English, antique, drop leaf dining table dating to the mid-Victorian period c.1870.
A stable and sturdy dining table made from generous stock of solid mahogany displaying good grain detail and patina in a warm russet hue.
Rising on stout, square section legs with ring turned detailing, decorative, flame mahogany, shaped aprons at either end lift the piece above the ordinary.
Fully configurable from a modest side table or intimate diner for two, the table extends to seat up to 8 with the twin arm supports ably carrying the weighty flaps for a stable and strong dining experience.
