This is an antique Victorian lowboy c.1870
Well proportioned and constructed in English oak throughout, this lowboy, or knee hole desk, features the original solid brass fittings complimenting the warm dark finish of the polished wax finish.
Rising on bobbin turned legs, the top surface is edged with stylised leaf carving echoing the drawer fronts and brackets to the knee hole which is flanked with drop acorns. To either end panel a quatrafoil carving finishes the piece.
Presented in good antique condition. Solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed & polished ready for the home.
