This is an Antique, English oak gentleman's chest with interesting and documented provenance, c.1870.åÊ

Recently relined in quality baize and now providing superb storage, this generously sized chest displays a desirable patina with huge interest. Dome topped in English oak the original iron strapping is beautifully aged with original clasps, handles and lock (without key).
A classic item of functional English furniture of quality craftsmanship, it is solidly jointed and robust.
A rare and lovely original chest in good condition and a piece to be welcomed into any collection.åÊ
