This is a pair of antique, 19th century, Indian carved wooden campaign tables dating back to c.1895 in the middle of the British Raj.

The detachable circular tops of these striking tables are profusely decorated and carved in deep relief in geometric form with flowers, foliage and mirhab encircling a central roundel featuring the Taj Mahal in brass inlay.

The collapsable, octagonal stands have pierced foliate panels bordered by carved geometric framing.
