Victorian 3 Tier Walnut Whatnot, c.1880
Our Stock # LFA-1240
This is an antique, Victorian three tier whatnot dating to c.1880.
The rich honey tones of the English walnut are a real treat on this whatnot that would serve well as a tea trolley, side table or display stand.åÊ
The galleried top and shelves feature serpentine edge detail to all sides and rise on tapering barley twist columns in classic 'candlestick' form. The gallery being subtly curved a mark of the attention to detail on this piece.
Beneath the shelves, a single frieze drawer is dressed with turned pulls. The tapering, ring turned legs terminate in brass cup and original castors.
A superior example of it's type, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
