This is a small vintage Satsuma vase. A Chinese, ceramic baluster urn with Oriental taste, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1960.

Attractive vintage Oriental ceramic art
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Ceramic free of cracks or marks throughout
Finished with bright palette of colours against a dark black ground

Charming Oriental panel scenes decorate the front and reverse
Colourful in raised enamel, glazed slipware or 'moriage'
Flared rim and baluster form decorated with foliate motif
Hand-painted Satsuma mark adorns the circular base

This is a delightful vintage Satsuma vase being profusely decorated with hand-painted detail and figures. Delivered ready to display in any room.
