This is a small antique lamp table. A Chinese, rosewood and marble wine table or vase stand, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Fine craftsmanship on display with a lovely inset marble top
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select stocks enthusiastically carved with deep chestnut hues
- Quartered marquetry encloses a rouge marble plinth, with a beaded edge moulding
- Pierced fretwork to the deep apron with vine leaf detail
- Standing upon four cabriole legs with carved knees and bold ball and claw feet
This is an attractive and well-carved antique lamp table, with great colour and the cool rouge marble insert. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
