This is a set of six antique dining chairs, English Regency, mahogany chairs dating to the early 19th century, circa 1820.

• A fine set of chairs in select mahogany with a desirable patina
• Good colour and grain interest in a wax polished finish
• Raised on gently tapering, square section front legs with swept rears
• United by a box stretcher, recessed to the front for comfort

• Sinuous form to the reeded armrests on the carvers
• Horizontal, triple panel splats, delineated centre panel flanked by open 'X's
• Dished crest rail features appealing edge moulding detail

• Traditionally stuffed, drop in seat pads, easily recovered to suit and décor
• Finished in a quality pale cloth, some minor marks consistent with careful use
• Of quality craftsmanship, suitable for daily use
